Aug. 19, 2015 – The Coalition for Healthcare Communication (CHC) is partnering with the Center for Communication Compliance (CCC) to offer the first regulatory compliance eLearning program to healthcare agencies and publishers.
“As the regulatory environment becomes more complex for communications professionals promoting drugs and devices, the CHC/CCC partnership makes it practical, efficient and affordable for our member companies and their employees to remain savvy and up-to-date on regulatory changes,” according to Matt Giegerich, chair of the CHC Executive Committee.
“Understanding and achieving compliance with the regulatory environment is one of the highest priorities for our clients,” he noted, “and we believe that our new partnership with CCC demonstrates the ongoing commitment of our industry to uphold the highest standard of healthcare communications.”
CCC Founder and President Ilyssa Levins added that “collaboration among agencies, publishers and their clients is vital as the regulatory environment becomes more complex. The cost of noncompliance is simply too high to leave regulatory competency to chance.”
The CCC Regulatory Compliance University offers more than two dozen eLearning modules on fundamental regulatory requirements available 24/7. Courses range from those tailored toward entry-level staff and those new to healthcare to those who design, review, approve or execute advertising or promotional materials and campaigns in the United States and Europe. The University also offers a Mastery Program based on CCC’s proprietary ‘Learn+Confirm’ System, which includes an online webinar lecture component and a companion test to confirm mastery of the content.
CCC content is reviewed by members of the CCC Advisory Board — national and international experts, including former government officials and healthcare compliance officers, regulatory experts, and lawyers.
