Pfizer’s Susman to Talk Public/Private Partnerships at Nov. 10 Coalition Briefing

Sept. 19, 2014 – Sally Susman, EVP, Corporate Affairs, Pfizer, will share her insights on the importance of public and private partnerships and discuss the role that Corporate Affairs plays in advancing business goals at a Coalition for Healthcare Communication’s Nov. 10 breakfast briefing to be held in New York City.

Susman is a member of Pfizer’s Executive Leadership Team, chairs its Political Action Committee and is Vice Chair of the Pfizer Foundation. She oversees the Company’s global communications and its public affairs activities, including high-level relations with the governments of all nations in which the company has operations or markets products. She also heads Pfizer’s corporate responsibility group and plays a key role in shaping the Company’s policy initiatives.

The briefing also will include a presentation from the Coalition’s Executive Director John Kamp. He will provide an overview of major marketing issues and Coalition activities in Washington, including updates on the elections and Congressional moves to tax marketing, as well as a discussion of recent policy decisions by FDA’s Office of Prescription Drug Promotion (OPDP) and the Sunshine Act unit of CMS.
