Dec. 14, 2015 – Lori Reilly, executive vice president, Policy and Research, at the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA), will speak to Coalition for Healthcare Communication members in New York City at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 16, and will share her thoughts on “Managing Pricing and Marketing Challenges in 2016.”
“Come hear the PhRMA head of policy and research tell us how we can help the industry respond to the criticism of drug pricing and marketing in the face of citizen unease and political pressures,” said Coalition Executive Director John Kamp. “Reilly, a veteran of Capitol Hill, has seen and heard it all, but never before has it been so loud, shrill and widespread. Save the date to learn more about what PhRMA and its members are doing to respond in these difficult times.”
Reilly currently leads PhRMA’s policy and research department in the development and implementation of legislative, regulatory and political strategies to successfully navigate the ever-changing federal health care landscape, working to advance policies that encourage medical progress and patient access to the fruits of pharmaceutical innovation.
Prior to joining PhRMA, she was counsel at the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Commerce. And before joining the House Commerce Committee, she was Chief of Staff/Counsel to Rep. Jon Christensen, a member of the House Ways and Means Committee.
More details on the Feb. 16 meeting will follow.
