CHC Briefing to Provide Medical Marketers With Preview of How Washington Will Affect Their 2014

Jan. 8, 2014 – At a Jan. 16 Coalition for Healthcare Communication breakfast briefing to be held in New York City, medical marketers will hear from “inside the Beltway” experts about how federal policies and politics are likely to shape the coming year.

The meeting, free to Coalition members and prospective members, will feature keynote speaker Cole Werble, longtime publisher of “The Pink Sheet,” current publisher of The RPM Report and owner of Prevision Policy, a business advisory group for the life sciences industry. Werble’s presentation is entitled, “Obamacare, Biosimilars, Off-label Marketing and Drug Approvals: How 2013 Paves the Way for an Exciting 2014.”

Additionally, Coalition Executive Director John Kamp will give attendees a full rundown on major marketing issues and Coalition activities, including updates on Congressional moves to tax marketing, the Sunshine Act and recent Warning Letters from FDA’s Office of Prescription Drug Promotion.
